There’s a famous, often deemed untranslatable term in Japanese: Ometenashi( おもてなし). It expresses the mindful hospitality that goes into caring for guests. But you don’t need to travel to Tokyo for an authentic Ometenashi experience; just go to London’s Nobu Shoreditch.

From world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, this chic, industrial, and minimalist restaurant has the best sushi buffet in London.

Here’s what you can expect from one of the best bottomless sushi restaurants in London.

Where can you get all-you-can-eat sushi in London?

In the heart of Shoreditch, just a few minutes walk from the Spitalfields Market, you’ll find Nobu, standing tall in all its industrial glory. Upon entering, the staff warmly and enthusiastically greets you in Japanese before whisking you away to your table.

Nobu’s atmosphere soothes your eyes with understated luxury, mixing sleek, modern, and industrial embellishments with the wood-style simplicity that traditional Japanese restaurants are famous for.

An open sushi counter immediately draws your attention, displaying the raw, fresh fish and seafood that Executive Chef Sandi Richmond uses to cook famous dishes. Sitting up to 240 guests, Nobu also offers a lounge, bar, and courtyard area if you need a quick change of scenery while feasting on their sushi buffet.

There’s nothing better than dining with a view of London’s glittering skyline. Here are the best London restaurants with a view.

When is the Sushi Brunch at Nobu Shoreditch?

Nobu Shoreditch regularly hosts bottomless brunch every Saturday from 12:00–16:30 and Sunday from 12:30–17:00.

If you book brunch at Nobu, a 72-hour cancellation notice is required, and there’s a £90 fee for late cancellations and no-shows. After making your booking well in advance (we’ll show you how below), we recommend arriving two hours before brunch finishes

Last seating for brunch on both days is at 14:30.

What does bottomless sushi brunch at Nobu Shoreditch include?

Nobu Shordetich’s bottomless brunch includes endless servings of the restaurant’s signature sashimi, sushi, and crispy rice. Think thin strips of seabass, salmon, and avocado bound tightly together by fluffy white rice and sprinkled with garnishes of soy sauce and caviar.

Influenced by his time spent improvising sushi ingredients while in Lima, Nobu Matsuhisa has taken the same vibrant taste to London—with many ingredients coming from Peru. Many items on Nobu’s sushi menus even include padron peppers and jalapeno salsa for a unique and emboldening fusion of flavours.

Guests can also partake in one main dish alongside a dessert buffet. Some delicious meals we wholeheartedly suggest:

  • Black Cod Miso: Nobu Matsuhisa’s iconic dish, featuring buttery black cod marinated in miso.
  • Grilled Beef Balsamic Teriyaki: Tender and juicy beef glazed with rich balsamic and teriyaki.
  • Rock Shrimp Tempura: Crispy shrimps covered in a creamy, sweet, and spicy batter.
